Over the years, Gramin Evam Nagar Vikas Parishad (GENVP) has been recognized for its commitment to transparency, innovation, and grassroots development. These recognitions reflect the organization's continued efforts to create meaningful change and strengthen communities.

Outstanding Annual Report Award – 2009

On 27 March 2009, GENVP received the CSO Partners’ Outstanding Annual Report Award 2009 for its Annual Report for 2007–2008.

The award recognized organizations that demonstrated strong transparency, accountability, and effective communication through their annual reports. GENVP was selected among 207 Civil Society Organizations from across India, making this recognition a significant milestone for the organization.

The award was received by the General Secretary of GENVP from Mr. Wajahat Habibullah, then Central Information Commissioner of India.

Bihar Innovation Forum – 2007

In 2007, the Bihar Innovation Forum, organized by the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Project of the Government of Bihar, brought together innovative approaches to rural development from across the state.

GENVP’s initiative, “Dalit Sangarsh Morcha,” was selected by a panel of experts as one of the 25 notable innovations and was recognized under the category of Innovative Social Organization.

The recognition highlighted GENVP’s innovative approach to addressing social challenges and empowering marginalized communities. The award was presented to the General Secretary of GENVP by Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi, then Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.

These recognitions are more than awards for GENVP. They represent the trust placed in our work and our continued commitment to transparency, innovation, community participation, and social justice. They encourage us to keep working with communities and developing solutions that can create lasting and meaningful change
