At Gramin Evam Nagar Vikas Parishad (GENVP), our work focuses on the issues that have the greatest impact on the lives, dignity, and future of rural and marginalized communities. We take a community-centered approach, working with people to create awareness, build opportunities, strengthen participation, and encourage lasting social change.

Our key areas of work include:

  • Health: Improving awareness and access to essential healthcare services, particularly for underserved communities.

  • Women’s Empowerment & Dignity: Supporting women to become confident, independent, and active participants in society.

  • Community Foundation: Strengthening communities and encouraging people to work together to address local challenges.

  • Homelessness: Supporting vulnerable and homeless individuals and working towards a life of dignity and security.

  • Networking of Organizations: Building partnerships and connecting organizations to share knowledge, resources, and experiences.

  • Behavior Change Communication: Promoting awareness and positive changes in attitudes, practices, and community behavior.

  • Livelihood: Creating opportunities for sustainable income, skills development, and economic independence.

  • Agriculture: Supporting farmers and promoting sustainable and improved agricultural practices.

  • Local Self-Governance: Encouraging community participation in local decision-making and strengthening grassroots governance.

  • Dalit Empowerment: Promoting equal rights, dignity, inclusion, and opportunities for Dalit communities.

  • Gender Equality & Empowerment: Working towards a society where everyone has equal rights, opportunities, and respect regardless of gender.

  • Women & Child Trafficking: Raising awareness, supporting prevention efforts, and protecting vulnerable women and children from trafficking and exploitation.

  • Education & Digital Literacy: Expanding access to education and helping communities develop essential digital skills for today's world.

  • Natural Resource Management: Encouraging communities to responsibly manage and protect natural resources for present and future generations.

  • Right to Information (RTI): Promoting awareness of the RTI Act and helping citizens understand their right to access information and participate more effectively in governance.
